When composing my Rhetorical Analysis, I knew I  wanted to write about a topic that I personally was able to relate to, and a big issue that I think is still very common in the world today. So when I came across the article “Are you Beach Ready?”I knew right away that I wanted to write about something many people, mostly women, go through on a daily basis. While reading the article, It made me see how many women feel about the idea of a “Beach Ready” body. Many believe they aren’t pretty enough because they don’t fit the description of the beauty standard. There’s many unrealistic standards that many people create to bring others down to make others feel good about themselves. While examining the picture, it also made me realize the way people want women to look, which causes insecurities and even mental health issues.
